IM/PERMANENCE album is a collaboration between the sound artist and composer tilesofColour and the visual artist Jörg Bräuer. These two friends have been close for a long time, travelling the world together. Inspired by each other have decided to work on a project that affects them both personally. At the beginning of 2025, Jörg Bräuer created a stunning visual narrative of images entitled IM/PERMANENCE. This project involved a month-long stay at the foot of Europe’s largest glacier in Iceland, where he wrote, filmed and photographed to explore this theme. The result are various art exhibitions, a video installation and a monographie. Taking inspiration from these ideas and his own intense involvement with the subject, tilesofColour was driven to create an independent interpretation in the form of a musical piece that conveys the narrative through sound.

The film IM/PERMANENCE by Jörg Bräuer was presented at the ARTE NUNZIO Autumn 2025 exhibition at the Ancienne Nonciature on Place du Grand Sablon in Brussels. The composer TilesofColour contributed his own musical compositions to this video installation, which were a world premiere. The album tilesofColour, IMPERMANENCE has been released by the Königskinder record label and is available on all major streaming platforms, including SoundCloud, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, Qobuz and more.
